Since its founding in 1948, our club has sought to find a permanent home through the generosity of either our local council or a suitable benefactor. Neither have materialised so we we have had to make do over the years with temporary location that we know the owner may require back at short notice. It was such an event that left us for most of the 90's without a permanent track. However, in 1999 we have teamed up with Budmouth Technology College and now have the best track and Club house facilities since the club was founded.

The Track is an oval around the Main Technology Block with a passing loop and 5 steaming bays coming off a turntable. The track bed is made of a number of different materials as it works it way round the building. These materials range from tarmac, to stone ballast and more recently, concrete bases.

The track is approximately 200 metre in length and have 5" and 7 1/4" tracks.
